Winnie believes in creating effective design solutions for client’s genuine needs. She enjoys collaboration to explore new ideas from different angles and takes on challenges to achieve creative integration of innovative design and technology.  Her hands-on approach from inception to completion endeavor to achieve inspiring design solutions that transcend expectations.

At over 20 years of varied international experience, Winnie has proven track record in spearheading award winning design and delivery of many high-profile diverse projects in China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.  Some of her actively involved internationally published and award-winning design includes Suzhou Centre in Suzhou New CBD, W-Avenue in Suzhou TaiWu, Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai, China World Trade Centre Phase 3A in Beijing, Central Festival Pattaya Beach and Central Plaza Grand Rama IX in Bangkok.  Each of these projects generates vigorous symbiotic relationships between program space and the public realm in the marriage of efficient program with enlivening design.

Winnie is a Chartered Architect in registration with Architects Registration Board (ARB) in United Kingdom and a member of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).  She has worked for a number of international renowned architectural practices in UK and Hong Kong.  Prior to joining ODU, Winnie was the Director of a major multi-disciplinary UK architecture practice, where she began as a young architect and ascended through the ranks.  Winnie developed and led a core team to explore innovative design goals and creatively technical solutions in association with blue chip developers in Asia.  Her passion in shaping design into a valuable asset in its context and understanding of the market has contributed to her engagement in many high-profile projects, which proven her collaborative and design leadership skills.

Active as external critics for architecture educational institutes and universities, Winnie has also been a speaker for international conferences in Hong Kong and China.  Her varied design experience includes expertise in large mixed-use developments, retail planning, architecture and interior design, masterplanning and transportation oriented development.  Winnie continues to use her capacity as a specialist in mixed use development to expand her horizon in the field, providing creative solutions for different building types and environment in the changing market.
